Urban Street Bazaar 2008

Last week was the Urban Street Bazaar. Dylan and I had tons of fun working my booth and hanging out with fellow artists. Thanks to all that came by to show some loving! I hope to see ya'll at the Etsy Dallas Beer-B-Q this Sunday to kick off the summer with some fun, music, shopping and good hearty BBQ and beer.

New Art! Yippity Skippity!

Every Friday I participate in an Etsy Dallas crafting circle hosted by the great Larry, the Kessler Craftsman, in his enormous home studio. A few weeks ago I brought an empty canvas and painted the night away, and this is what I ended up doing.

I love birds (if you can't tell) and coffee!!!! So what better than birds and coffee in one painting! woo hoo! Oh, and the Shiner was my fuel that night. Always good for keeping the art engine running late at night.

Etsy Dallas Aprons!!!

Being a part of Etsy Dallas has been super super awesome! I made us some aprons to wear for our upcoming Beer-B-Q Trunk Show. Aren't they hot? Especially on that yummy model girl. haha!

I made a Treasury on Etsy

I haven't done on of these Treasury things in quite a while. Fortunately, I was in the right time at the right place today and was able to snag one. Picking amazing talent is tough when you have so much to choose from, so I stuck with my homies and featured my Etsy Dallas buddies. Check them out. They all rock! Too bad there's not enough space to show all the awesome work.

Oak Cliff Earth Day Craft Show

Last weekend was the super super Oak Cliff Earth Day Festival. I had a ton of fun hanging out with some awesome artsy folks and doing my thing. Oh, and I took some pics....here: enjoy!My booth got a face lift this time around! I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately I didn't get any cool actions shots of me in it....oh well, next time. There be my Etsy Dallas girls, Stephanie of Tefi Designs and Brenda of B'licious. They rocked the pavilion!B'licious showing off her lovely goods! woo woo!

Etsy Dallas Beer-B-Q!!

On Sunday, May 18th Etsy Dallas will kick off the summer season with a festive trunk show at the home of one of its members, Larry, a.k.a. the Kessler Craftsman.

Etsy Dallas’ first annual Beer-B-Q will boast over 20 local artists and crafters selling their handmade goods. Shop for jewelry, stationery, photography, bags, hair accessories, glass art, soap and bodycare, clothing, home décor, and so much more!

Customers will also be greeted with the delicious smell of grilled meats and veggies, cold beer on tap, soda, and live music – all free to the public! The first lucky 25 customers will receive a goodie bag chock full of promo items and coupons.

Etsy Dallas will also offer a Make-&-Take booth for all ages. Customers can explore their creative side for free and experience first-hand the joy of the handmade way! All unused supplies will be donated to a local children’s charity.

So bring your appetite, your creativity, and your support for local artists and crafters, and get ready for a day full of handmade food, music, and fun with Etsy Dallas!
